“Zero to Hero”: PCIbex + R

We will design experiments, set them up on PCIbex and analyze data.

On the way, I will explain why we do some things this way and not the other, and some other things are just a matter of established procedures - no proper explanations.

No prior experience required. I know this is the last class, so we will do as much hands-on work as possible, and I will try to make the theoretical part entertaining.

Going to cover: experimental design - general requirements; grammaticality judgement, lexical decision task, self-paced reading tasks, peculiar designs based on questionnaire format. Descriptive stats, mixed-effects regressions, multiple comparisons.
