OVA is a foundation (Verein) registered in Austria under the full name Omnes Voces Acceptamus Sommerschule für Linguistik.

Board

The OVA board consists of:

  • 2 general members
  • 1 phonology member
  • 1 semantics member
  • 1 syntax member

Every board member has an equal voice in each decision made. The board members are (re-)voted every five years. You can find the current board setup here.

Membership

Everyone who attended or taught at an OVA summer school is eligible to become an OVA member for the subsequent year (your registration fee is automatically your membership fee; teachers become honorary members). More information is sent via email to the participants after each school.

Every member is allowed to participate in the general assembly and vote on decisions like new board members or the next location of OVA.
